Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a long-sized object from making contact with a liquid tank for vulcanizing and cooling and from being thereby damaged and deformed by providing fluid injecting means on the inside wall of the liquid tank in working the long-sized object such as electric cable having an insulation covering layer of rubber or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A long-sized object 30 such as electric cable is transferred in a manner as to float in a liquid tank 2 because of liquid 4 of larger specific gravity in said tank. At this time, the same high-temp. liquid as the liquid 4 is injected to and impinged upon the body 30 from fluid injecting means 16 of the wall surface and therefore said body is spaced from the inside body; in addition, the liquid 4 is injected and agitated by which the temp. distributions of the liquid 4 is injected and agitated by which the temp. distributions of the liquid 4 are uniformalized and the treatment efficiency is improved. On the other hand, when the liquid 5 in the tank 3 is smaller in specific gravity than the body 30, the body 30 sinks in the tank 3 and is transferred in a manner as to contact the inside wall, then the same liquid as the liquid as the liquid 5 is injected to and impinged upon the body 30 from the fluid injecting means 16 in the tank 3 and therefore the body 30 is washed and transferred while being prevented from making contact with the wall.
