Abstract

PURPOSE: To cause sand grain substance itself on a gutter to generate a thrust to be conveyed by oscillating the gutter in a proper oscillation mode in case of transporting sand grain substance.
CONSTITUTION: Each one end of leaf springs 2, 3 is fixed to a pedestal 6, the other ends thereof being fixed to a gutter 1. A core 4 formed of magnetic substance where a coil 5 is mounted is fixed to the pedestal 6 in opposition to a magnetic piece 8 secured to the gutter 1 at a certain interval. When an a.c. current is applied to the coil 5, oscillation magnetic field is generated in the core 4, so that an oscillation is applied to the magnetic piece 8 to oscillate the gutter 1. If natural oscillation frequency determined by spring constants of the leaf springs 2, 3 and effective length thereof is consistent with driving frequency, a large amplitude is obtained with a small current due to a resonance phenomenon, so that the gutter 1 starts to vibrate from side to side, whereby sand grain substance on the gutter is carried to the right along an inclination of the gutter.
