Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect the images over a wide range at high speeds by vibrating a photoelectric element at large amplitudes and high vibration number.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical vibrating body 3 of small density such as synthetic resin material or other is connected to a permanent magnet 3a and is so supported by waveform bearings 5a 5d thru that its central axis aligns to optical axis. When alternating currents are applied to the coil 20 of the electromagnet 2 encircling this vibrating body 3, the vibrating body 3 vibrates in the optical axis direction at large amplitudes and a torsional vibrating body 4 vibrates cooperatively. On the other hand, a permanent magnet 4a is provided to the vibrating body 4 and when high frepuency current is applied to the coil 30 of an electromagnet 7, the vibrating body 4 supported by leaf springs 8a, 8b makes torsional vibrations at high frequencies. Hence, the photoelectric element 6 provided to the vibrating body 4 vibrates at large amplitudes, thus the images formed of a wide range are detected and at the same time the formed images are detcted at high speeds by vibrations of high frequencies.
