Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive mirror lens having no reflection losses and spherical aberrations by incorporating one or both of concave and convex circular conical reflecting mirrors coaxially. CONSTITUTION:The beam incident to a concave conical mirror P2 having central aperture is split to annular beams by a convex circular conical mirror P1. These are reflected by the mirror P2 to the annular beams parallel with the optical axis and are made incident to a concave mirror M1 having central aperture. Since the holded concave mirror M1 and a convex mirror M2 are a pair of coaxial spherical mirror lenses, the incident light from the mirror P2 is condensed at their focus F. Thereby, the inexpensive mirror lens having no reflection losses and spherical aberrations is obtained.
