Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish comfortable air-conditioning under any circumstances, by controlling the room temperature to approach automatically to a relative target value that is determined on the basis of a standard room temperature calculated from the outdoor temperature, and achieving automatic setting of an aimed room temperature according to the outdoor temperature.

CONSTITUTION: On the basis of an outdoor temperature γ°C detected by an outdoor-temperature detecting means 5 installed on the outside of a room to be air-conditioned, a standard room temperature γ*°C is computer by a standard room-temperature calculating means 6 by use of a prescribed equation. Then, in consideration of the room temperature γ*°C, relative target value θ°C and room temperature β°C detected by a room-temperature detecting means 2, an air conditioner 4 is controlled by a control means 8 to satisfy the equation, γ*-β+θ=0. Here, although the relative target value θ°C is principally a parameter to be converged to θ°C, it is possible to shift the value θ°C to the minus region if a lower temperature than the standard temperature γ*°C is desired preferentially, for instance, in case of cooling. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to increase the degree of freedom in controlling the room temperature according to differences between individuals and circumstances.
