Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent drastic change of the air temperature in a room due to the stoppage of temperature control when the humidity of the air in the room is made lowered, by selecting the set value of the room temperature to be lower than the reference value of the room temperature by a predetermined value and increasing the water flow rate through a cooling-water coil in case that the humidity of the air in the room exceeds the upper permissible limit value.
CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner 1 comprises a cooling water coil 2 and a fan 3. While controlling the flow rate of open air and recirculated air by a damper 4, air cooled by the cooling water coil 2 is supplied into a room to be air conditioned by the fan 3. Here, the water flow through the coil 2 is controlled by a control valve 5 which is in turn controlled by a valve controller 6. The valve controller 6 is controlled by a temperature controller 7 by the outputs of a thermometer 8 and a hygrometer 10 and the output calculated by a temperature compensating circuit 11 on the basis of a standard setting temperature Ts. That is, the opening of valve 5 is increased by selecting the setting value of the room temperature given as a control signal to be a predetermined value lower than the reference setting temperature in case that the humidity of air in the room is higher than an upper permissible limit value.
