Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an energy saving effect in a cooler device for performing a cooling of a room while a part of the surrounding air is being fed by a method wherein a surrounding air feeding damper, a cooling coil and a reheating coil are controlled in response to the enthalpy condition of the indoor air and the surrounding air and the room temperature condition. CONSTITUTION:Air circulation pipe 19 is connected to the room 21, and other separate surrounding air feeding pipe 20 and the air circulation pipe 19 are connected to a suction port of a cooling unit constructed by a cooling coil 22, a reheating coil 23 and a blower 24. In operation, enthalpy of the surrounding air and the indoor atmosphere is sensed by sensor 31 for the enthalpy of surrounding air and the indoor condition and compared by a comparator 36. When the enthalpy of the surrounding air is highter than the indoor enthalpy, the surrounding air feeding damper 39 is closed, an air circulation damper 38 is opened, and in turn when the enthalpy is lower than the indoor enthalpy, each of the dampers 39, 38 is operated. When the indoor condition is exceeded over a predetermined value of the enthalpy, a cooling operation is performed to make a room temperature control by the reheating coil 23.
