Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease generation of a secondary distortion, by providing a variable impedance element consisting of an FET, between the emitters or the collectors of differential amplifying circuits, and also grounding its substrate through a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A control voltage source having a low enough AC output impedance is connected to a gate terminal of an FET provided between paired differential amplifiers. An input signal applied between terminals 1, 2 is transferred to the drain and the source of an FETF1 through transistors Q1, Q2, respectively. As a result, the gate-source voltage of the FETF1 is given by the sum of half input voltage and control voltage. In the FETF1, however, since there is a parasitic capacity between the channel and the substrate, a capacitor C1 is provided between the substrate SUB and ground in order to prevent deterioration of a secondary distortion.
