Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the life of a developer longer and its stability higher by coating carriers with a resin contg. powder of SnO2, Sn-TiO2 or SnO2-BaSO4 alone or their composite powders. CONSTITUTION:A coating resin such as fluororesin, styrene-butadiene copolymer resin or the like and finely divided particles of tin oxide type such as SnO2, Sn- TiO2 or SnO2-BaSO4 alone or their composite are compounded for example at 0.1- 10pts.wt. to 100pts.wt., the coating resin, and the mixture is dispersed in a solvent such as toluene or xylene. The dispersion is coated on carriers and is dried. Thereby, the resistance value of the coating resin is lowered, the life of the developer is made longer and the stable carriers are obtained.
