Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a larger degree of relatively twisted angle of a device in use for a clutch disc or the like, by such means that in a window formed by tilted walls of two members making the rotary displacement, a resilient body fixed with hard plates at its both ends is floatably engaged, and if one of the two members is displaced the resilient body is twisted and then compressed. CONSTITUTION:Circumferentially tilted walls 1a, 7a of the first member 1 and the second member 7 and radially cut edges 1b, 7b of the both members 1, 7 form a plurality of windows 8, and a resilient body 10, fixed with hard plates 9 at its both ends, is interposed between the tilted walls 1a, 7a without being fixed in an adapted state of facing two points. If the both members 1, 2 are rotatively displaced, one side of the resilient body 10 is moved radially to the outside and applied with two forces of compression and shearing. Then the hard plate 9 is completely adapted to the tilted wall 1a, and then only the force of compression is acted. In this way, a relatively twisted angle of larger degree can be obtained as compared with that only by compression, thus better absorption of torque change can be performed in a low rotary speed range.
