Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of vibration arising from a rapid change of speed or torque, by constituting a device such that torque of an input side rotary member is transmitted to an output side rotary member through a viscous coupling built in a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:If an input shaft 1 and input side rotary member 3 are rotated, torque of the input side rotary member 3 is transmitted to torque transmission plates 11 and 12 by viscosity resistance of viscous fluid between a viscosity friction rotary surface 5a and viscosity friction rotary surface 11a and a viscosity friction rotary surface 5a' and viscosity friction rotary surface 12a, further transmitted to an output shaft 23 through a torque transmission cylinder 13 and envelope member 21. In this way, a rapid change of speed or torque of the input shaft 1 can be reduced and damped by a viscous coupling B, then transmitted to an output side rotary member 7 as a smooth change of speed or torque.
