Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable selecting of a desired medium corresponding to a change in a nature and a size of a recording picture, by mounting devices which feed recording mediums of distinct types between a heating head of a heat-sensitive recorder and a back roll, and by driving said devices selectively.
CONSTITUTION: Heat-sensitive recording mediums 1 and 1a, being different in a nature and a size, are housed in a roll. Through the selection of, for example, the recording medium 1 through the working of an external instruction device, feed rolls 5 and 5a turn, and the medium 1 is guided in a support manner by means of a feed guide 8 to be fed through a feed guide 8b and between a back roll 2 and a heating head 3 together with a recording paper 7. At a point of time when heat-sensitive recording is completed, the medium 1 is cut by means of cutters 6. In case the medium 1a is selected, feed rolls 15 and 15a spin, and feeding is conducted as described above. Thus eliminates the need for replacement of the medium, and the medium is easy to process as it is cut beforehand.
