Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a dynamic speaker, by constituting a voice coil plus a ribbon-shaped conductor and diaphragm in common with thin bandlike berrylium. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal is jetted from a nozzle and continuous thin band of berrylium is obtained by passing through the metal through rotating rolls by rapid cooling. On the other hand, a wire for a voice coil 8 uses thin bandlike berrylium of rectangular type in cross section and it is wound on a bobbin 9 so that the plane is adhered, allowing to increase the occupying factor of conductor volume at magnetic gaps, i.e., efficiency. Since the impedance is made as low as 8OMEGA by constituting a conductor and diaphragm 15 with thin band berrylium, a matching transformer can be omitted and the performance can be remarkably increased.
