Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase of the resistance against drawing out of an earth anchor as well as to permit its restoration as needed after the construction by embedding a freezing pipe in the ground where an earth anchor is to be constructed and also circulating a refrigerant in the freezing pipe so as to properly freeze the ground.
CONSTITUTION: Since a frozen soil 3 formed underground by circulating a refrigerant in a definite freezing pipe 2 buried slantely underground through a temporarily provided sheathing wall 1 is closely and integrally adhered to the freezing pipe 2, the frozen soil 3 forms an earth anchor with the freezing pipe 2 to support the sheathing wall 1 even when a sufficient force to fall is applied to the wall 1 because of the action of the frozen soil 3 as an anchor. When the earth anchor becomes unnecessary, the underground can be easily restored by thawing the frozen soil 3 and then drawing out the freezing pipe 2.
