Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent heat loss in a heating part, by bonding a heat resistant and heat insulating lagging member to an object to be heated and by taking a measure so that water does not permeate between the object to be heated and induction heating cables installed in the outer side when a structure is heat-treated in water. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is composed of a heat insulating ease 17 containing heating cables 3, a pressurized gas bag 12 installed on the circumferential surface of the heat insulating case 17 on its side toward the object to be heated 1, and further a bag 8 filled with a sealing material that is installed on the circumferential surface of the gas bag 12 on its side toward the object to be heated 1. The above-mentioned case 17 encloses the object to be heated 1 and is divided in an axial direction. The case 17 has terminals 4b for connecting cables 3 to form coils on its connecting surface. Further the bag 8 filled with a sealing material contains a heat resistant lagging material 6a in its inside and has small holes 7 perforated on its circumferential surface.
