Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition giving a homogeneous and high-density inorg. powder molded product with excellent strength and releasability, which comprises a water-soluble polymer and a difficultly water-soluble org. material difficultly miscible with each other.
CONSTITUTION: 10wt% or more water-sluble polymer such as casein or PVA and 5wt% or more difficultly water-soluble org. material such as paraffin emulsion or stearic acid difficultly miscible with each other are compounded to obtain a composite binder composition for powder molding. In granulating an inorg. powder by use of the composition, after the composition is dissolved or suspended in water, an inorg. powder such as Al or NaNbO3 of average particle size ≤20μ is added to and mixed with the composition, and then granulated. The granulated product is calcined after molded.
