Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a tubular film having high strength by molding stably at a high speed, by adding a small amount of a free radical-generating agent to polyethylene obtd. by using a specified catalyst and subjecting the resulting mixture to an inflation molding.
CONSTITUTION: While a polyolefin resin (A) is mixed with a free radical-generating agent (B) and component B is decomposed and reacted with component A, or after component B is reacted with the component A, an inflation molding is conducted to produce a film. In the above production of the film, an ethylene (co) polymer having a melt index of pref. 0.01W0.1g/10min and a density of pref. 0.90W0.97g/cm3 produced by using a Ziegler catalyst contg. Mg and Ti, is used as the resin A, and component B is used in an amount of 0.001W0.0045wt% based on the amount of component A. The above process makes stable high-speed molding possible and a tubular article having high strength is obtained.
