CONSTITUTION:One pulse signal produced from a control circuit 15 is applied to a parallel-serial conversion circuit 5 to pass over a serial digital signal representing the date, hour, minute and second for the occasion. This signal is converted into a recording time display analog signal outside audible frequencies at a recording waveform shaping circuit 7 and recorded on a tape 40. When a circuit 8 is in playback state, when an analog signal representing the date is recorded on the tape 40, it is applied to a speaker 41 with an information signal. After the analog signal is converted into a serial digital signal at a playback waveform shaping circuit 9, it is converted into a parallel digital signal at a serial-parallel conversion circuit 10, and one pulse signal is produced, a data output conversion circuit 11 is switched with a control circuit 15 and a signal in the circuit 10 is applied to a display circuit 12 and an audio synthesis circuit 13.
