Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the crosstalk completely and thus prevent the deterioration of the sound quality, by subjecting a time axis compression to a voice signal which received angle modulation and at the same time recording the phase of the compressed voice signal by every prescribed horizontal period in a reversed state. CONSTITUTION:An voice signal receives an angle modulation through an FM modulator 3 and is then written into a memory device 5. The voice signal is compressed and then read in a horizontal period from the device 5 by every horizontal period so as to record the same compressed signal in a consecutive prescribed horizontal period. The compressed digital signal is supplied to a D/A converter 6 to be converted into a compressed FM signal and then supplied to a frequency converter 7. In this case, the phase of the compressed FM carrier is recorded so as to reverse the phase by every prescribed horizontal period inthe adjacent tracks when the compressed FM signal is recorded.
