Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled cleaner for the gas-rising pipe in the coke furnace in which the cleaning element moving upward and downward in the pipe is provided with a plurality of holders and wire bundles which is operated with pressurized air is set to the holders exchangeably, whereby the pipe is cleaned with a simple device in high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: The cleaning element 2 moving up and down along the inside of the gas-rising pipe 1 in the coke furnace is provided with a plurality of holders 3 radially and wire bundles 4 are set to each holder 3 so that they are freely exchangeable and operated with pressurized air. Then, the coal-charging cart or a separately prepared cart 5 is sent to the position parallel to the gas-rising pipe 1 to be cleaned and the chain 7 is extended to move down the cleaning element 2 in the pipe 1. At the same time, pressurized air is supplied through pipe 8 to operate the wire bundles on each holder 3 and strongly scrape off carbonized substances sticking to the inner wall of the pipe 1.
