Abstract

PURPOSE: To form grooves for generating dynamic pressure of stable quality with high performance by irradiating rays to the corrosion resistant ink of a desired shape printed on the outside circumferential surface of a shaft body making one revolution from the outside wurface on the side opposite from the printed position thereby hardening the same.
CONSTITUTION: While a shaft body 1 is being revolved one turn, corrosion resistant ink 4 is supplied on the outside circumferential surface of the body 1 through a printing die 2 by a supplying device 3, whereby a desired shape is printed. During this time, ultraviolet rays 5 are irradiated from the outside circumferential surface of the body 1 on the side opposite from the part in contact with the die 2 to harden the ink 4 in an extremely short time. As a result, there is no worry for the occurrence of shape collapsions in the joined part of the printing by the revolution of the shaft 1, and the hardening of the ink during printing does not occur during the work; therefore, a large volume of printing with high performance is accomplished and considerable reduction of cost is realized.
