Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a shape deformation generated in a print contact part by a method wherein an outer peripheral surface is subjected to preceding printing to cure an ink and, next, a residual part is subjected to rotary printing.
CONSTITUTION: A preceding print part 2 is printed on the outer peripheral surface of a shaft body in such a manner that a part of a shape thereof has a narrow width. Subsequently, the shaft body 1 is rotated and the printing is stopped immediately before said shaft body is returned to a its original position to form a second print part 3 having such a shape that a part thereof corresponding to the preceding print part 2 in a print contact part is devoid. That is, in the arbitrary position of a circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body 1, a narrow width part out of desired shapes to be printed is formed as the preceding print part 2 and said shaft 1 is rotated once in a condition being contacted with a special printed pattern to form the second print part 3 and, thereby, it is unnecessary to correct a shape after printing due to ink deformation.
