Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate insertion of a coil of the stator of an electric rotary machine and to make a heat press device to needless by a method wherein the breadth of the opening part of a slot is made as broader than the breadth of the bottom part, a slot liner is driven in after insertion of the coil, and the coil is heated to be hardened. CONSTITUTION:The sectional shape of the slot 21a of a stator core is made as a reversed pedestal type being the breadth (B) of the opening part of the slot formed broader than the breadth (B') of the bottom part. After the coil 5' to be pressed with heat is inserted in this slot, the 7-shaped slot liner 22 formed by laminating 7-shaped silicon steel plates is pressed in the gap formed between the coil and the wall face of the slot. The coil 5' is heated in this condition by feeding a current, and after an insulating layer 3 to the earth is softened once, the slot liner 22 is driven in up to the prescribed position, and moreover a rhombic wedge 23 is driven in. Finally the whole of the stator is heated, the coil 5' is hardened, and the equal effect with heat press is attained.
