Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve welding work efficiency especially at high work places in case of a remote-control-stopping of an engine welder or generator welding machine by enabling an engine to be stopped only through the deposit process of a welding rod.
CONSTITUTION: When the engine of an engine welder needs to be stopped in high place work, sticking a welding rod by welding to an electric conductor closes a contact at CRX, thereby opening a contact B of a relay XC and further closing a contact B of a relay X2. And it closes a contact B of a relay X1, setting a circuit of a timer T1, because the voltage in a cabtire cable 4 varies in such a manner that it's 84 volts at a high speed run, 24 volts during welding work, and 0 volt during welding rod deposit. After a time interval (about two seconds), battery electric current flows through X1 and T1 to operate a solenoid SR2, which removes a knocker 1D so that a control element 1 may return to the low speed position. With this low speed condition, the engine cools off to stop itself finally.
