Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a positive mixture which has high weighing precision as well as excellent discharge performence, by regulating the form of columnar granules by means of a specific round-granule regulator, after a wet positive mixture is subjected to extrustion granulation. CONSTITUTION:A moist positive mixture is granulated into columnar granules 5 by extrusion, and the form of the granules 5 is regulated by means of a round-granule regulator which has a cylindrical case 1 and the lower part of which is provided with discs 2, which are provided with concaves and convexes on their surfaces and rotate horizontally, thereby a granular positive mixture being manufactured. For instance, wet columnar granules 5 of the positive mixture is put from a hopper 4 onto horizontally rotating discs 2, rotate in doughnut form along the wall of the case 1 owing to the force developed through the rotation with the discs 2, the centrifugal force, the frictional force caused by the concave and convex surfaces on the discs 2, and the force given by the side wall of the case 1, and are exhausted from a damper 7 after being formed into round granules. The grain diameter of the round granules is in the range of 50-800mum. As a result, the weighing precision of the positive mixture is made high, and the heavy-load characteristic of the mixture at low temperature can be enhanced since the round granules have large active area.
