Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance both the weighing precision and the discharge characteristic of a positive electrode by supplying a moist positive mixture into a specific granulator, and supplying granules formed by being extruded through the fine holes of the granulator into a specific granule form regulator so as to make the granules into round form. CONSTITUTION:A moist positive mixture 6 is supplied into a granulator having both a cylindrical die 1 and extruding vanes 2 ratating in the die 1. The mixture 6 dispersed by supply vanes 3 is extruded through the fine holes of the die 1 outside the die 1 to made columnar mixture granules, which are supplied through a hopper 14 into a granule form regulator having both a cylindrical case 11 and a disc 12 rotating with concaves and convexes formed on the upper surfac. The positive mixture granules are brought toward the side wall of the case 11 through the rotation of the disc 12, and they are exhausted from a damper 16 after being formed into round granules. Here, the columnar mixture granules supplied into the granule form regulator is made round owing to the concaves and convexes of the disc 12. In addition, the diameter of the fine holes of the granulator is 0.3-0.5mm., and the concaves and the convexes of the granule form regulator are spaced at 1-3mm. intervals. As a result, a positive electrode which has high weighing precision and provides excellent heavy-load discharge characteristics can be obtained.
