Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a miniaturized and highly reliable trigonometrical function conversion circuit for an oscillation calculating panel by processing data with a semiconductor circuit composed of ROM in which antilogarithm of a trigonometrical function has been stored. CONSTITUTION:Input data A and B of synchronizing signals with the quantity of angles synchronized with a pulse from a pulse generating circuit 1 are converted into digital signals with the weight of angles by a syncrodigital converter 2. In every time when a pulse from the circuit 1 is inputted in FF3, output signals are inverted against the signals A and B and inputted to a quardrant detecting circuit 5, a sign detecting circuit 10 and a delay circuit 12. The circuit 5 descriminates whether the antilogarithm of a trigonometrical function is used as a sintheta curve or a costheta curve according to the signals A and B of input data and specifies the address of ROM7 through a change-over circuit 6. The ROM7 has stored the antilogarithm of the trigonometrical function and the data read out from the ROM7 pass through registers 14 and 15 respectively according to sine or cosine and are operated in an operation circuit 16. The circuit 10 detects positive or negative signs of the trigonometrical functions of the input data.
