PURPOSE:To improve electrical characteristics and to expand an operating voltage range of a differential amplifier, by constituting so that effective gate voltage of a constant-current source transistor of the differential amplification stage is made constant voltage having no predetermined power supply voltage dependence, or its nearby voltage. CONSTITUTION:A differential amplification stage is constituted of insulation gate type FETs 14-16, and to this differential amplification stage is connected in series the FET13 of a constant-current source. Moreover, as a biasing circuit of this FET13 is provided a series circuit consisting of a circuit part 22 having no voltage dependence, and an FET23 which has the same polarity as the FET13 of the constant-current source of the differential amplification stage, has been connected in common between the gate and the drain, and has a large coefficient of conductance. By this biasing circuit, a current from a current source 21 is supplied to the FET13. Subsequently, voltage of the sum of threshold voltage of the FET23 and predetermined constant voltage of the circuit part 22 is generated, by which the electrical characteristics of the differential amplification stage are improved, and an operating voltage range is expanded.
