Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a titled device and signal processing simple by such constitution wherein providing mechanisms for generating angle signals and a reference signal to the end of a crank shaft, and a mechanism for generating a discrimination signal is rotated from the crank shaft via a transmission mechanism. CONSTITUTION:While support plates 4-6 mounted to a detecting shaft 1 fixed to a crank shaft are held static, marks 6'', 1'', 6''', 25' are aligned, and when the shaft 1 revolves from the state of a reference slit 13 and a discrimination mark 27 in alignment to a photoelectric transducer 15 and a discrimination detector 28, angle signals are transmitted from photoelectric transducers 14, 18 at every revolution of the shaft 1 by one pitch of slits 12, and a reference signal is transmitted from the transducer 15. On the other hand, according to one revolution of the shaft 1, a gear disc 26 makes 1.5 turn, and a discrimination signal is transmitted once from the detector 28. The reference signal and the discrimination signal are ANDed, and the angle after the transmission of the reference signal is detected, whereby the revolving angle of the shaft 1 is determined, and the device and signal processing are made simple.
