PURPOSE:To simplify a transversal filter composed of charge transfer elements, by outputting transfer currents of respective output electrodes of a couple of complementary active elements connected as prescribed. CONSTITUTION:The common connection point of complementary transistors (TR) 21 and 22 controlled in common by a signal in phase with a clock is connected to the cold end side of the capacitance C'n of a charge transfer element BBD, and a current which corresponds to discharged charge is outputted through is outputted through current Miller circuits M3 and M4 connected to both output terminals of TRs 21 and 22 and led out and applied from the capacitor Cb1 of the charge transfer element BBDb. In this case, a transfer function H(z) from a tap T1 at the hot end side of the capacitors C'n and C''n of the element BBD to a tape T2' at the hot end side of the capacitor Cb4 of the element BBDb is shown by equation I, thereby forming a transversal filter of simple constitution with small power consumption by using a small number of elements such as a couple of complementary transistors.
