Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the aging resistance by forming a thin film of a reactive Ti compound and an orienting film on a plastic substrate having an electrically conductive transparent film. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a plastic substrate of polyethylene terephthalate or the like an electrically conductive transparent film of In2O3 or the like is formed, and a 1-20wt% soln. of a reactive Ti compound such as tetraquis(2-ethylhexyl) titanium in lower alcohol is applied to the film and dried at 50-150 deg.C to form a thin film 2 of the reactive Ti compound. A soln. of a compound such as linear polyamide, satd. polyester, thiokol or an org. silane compound in an org. solvent is then applied to the film 2, dried at 50-150 deg.C, and oriented by rubbing with cotton cloth or the like under 20-200g/cm<2> static pressure to form an orienting film 3.
