Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate large machinery working for the housing and reduce manufacturing cost sharply by welding the upper cover onto a housing, embedding it in concrete and permitting the deviation of bearing of a deflector shaft to be compensated.
CONSTITUTION: The top cover 1 is suspended from above a housing 2 and installed at a prescribed position, and the both jointing surfaces 9 are welded and fixed to the jointing surfaces of reinforcing beams 8 and 3. The leveling of the housing 2 after the generation of thermal deformation is compensated by an adjusting liner 6, and the leveling of the bearing 5 for a deflector shaft 7 is secured. Then, the deflector shaft 7 is inserted, and the housing is ebmbedded in concrete. A main shaft 11 is supported through a main bearing 10 and a runner 12 is fixed to the lower end.
