Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide high accuracy in lead angle adjustment of ignition timing to revolution speed and intake air negative pressure in the engine in such a way that pulses induced in synchronization with engine revolution are analogically processed by an electronic control circuit in order to give rectangular wave signals as output.
CONSTITUTION: With an inductor type signal generator 1 synchronized with the engine, pulse signals e1, e2 with different turning angles are generated, through a pulser coil 3 and they are respectively given as input to an F/F circuit 6, through waveform shaping circuits 4, 5. Further, this output is given as input to integrators 7, 8, one of which is integrated according to output of a negative pressure sensor 9 installed on the intake side of the engine and the other of which is integrated as it is, and this result is given through the first comparator circuit 10 to generate rectangular wave signals at the point F. And when input of this result is given to the second comparator 13, together with a value obtained through a bias circuit 12 and the third integrator 11 and a value from the integrator 8, a rectangular wave signal Vi can be obtained at the point I. The signal Vi is converted into the pulse generated at its rise and supplied as ignition timing signal.
