Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the yield of a heavy light oil, by controlling a temperature difference between a column plate having an inlet for the crude oil installed immediatly above it, and one having an outlet for the heavy light oil installed immediatly above it in a rectifier when distilling the crude oil at a normal pressure.
CONSTITUTION: When the crude oil is fractionated into each fraction by a normal pressure distillation, using a rectifier 1 having about 30W60 cloumn plates 7 installed at intervals of about 45W90cm and having a flash zone ranging from the 4th to 6th column plates from the bottom, the crude oil heated to 300W380°C is fed from the inlet 2 to the flash zone. The heavy light oil is extracted from the outlet 3 installed above the 4th or 5th column plate starting from the inlet 2 for the crude oil. At the same time, the temperature difference between the column plate having the entrance 2 for the crude oil installed immediately above it, and one having the outlet 3 for the heavy light oil installed immediately above it is controlled to a range of 1W3°C by controlling the heating temperature of the crude oil or the amount of the heavy light oil withdrawn, thereby improving the yield of the heavy light oil.
