Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of a coordinative relation and to reduce the abrasion of a bush rod, by guiding the push rod in a manner not to rotate the push rod, and bringing the push rod into linear contact with a type-printing hammer and an actuator lever.
CONSTITUTION: The body of a push rod 4' has a rectangular cross section, and a guide member 5' has square grooves 5a'. The push rod 4' is inserted into the square groove 5a', supported by a cover 13 so as not to slip off upwards and held movably along the direction shown as the arrow (b). Owing to this structure, the push rod 4' can not rotate. The both ends 4'a and 4'b of the push rod 4', i.e. parts in contact with a type-printing hammer 1 and an actuator layer 6, are formed in semicylindrical form. The push rod 4' comes in linear contact with the type- printing hammer 1 and the actuator lever 6 on a line along the transeverse direction of a printing paper 10 to be type-printed.
