Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the spilling of resin by a method in which a slidable beltlike shutter is provided around the tip part of the injection unit of a molding machine, a small hole matching a nozzle is drilled in the shutter, and the shutter is moved in sliding manner to wipe out the molding resin around the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A slidable beltlike shutter 2 is provided around the tip part of an injection unit 1 tipped with a nozzle through which molding resin is injected and provided to molds 6 in a freely back-and-forth movable manner, and a hole 4 matching the nozzle 3 is drilled in the beltlike shutter. The hole 4 is matched with the nozzle 3, a molding resin is injected, the beltlike shutter is slided in contact with the nozzle 3 by operating cylinders 7a and 7b to wipe out the molding resin around the nozzle 3, and the molding resin adhered to the beltlike shutter 2 is scraped off by cleaning knives 5a and 5b. Thus, the spilling of the molding resin can be prevented.
