Abstract

PURPOSE: To smooth a blood flow, to improve a measurement precision, and to obtain an improved reproducibility, by a method wherein a holder and a filter prevents the formation of air bubbles.
CONSTITUTION: An upper end of an injector 21 is connected to a suction nozzle 24. With solenoid valves A, B, F opened and E, C closed, physiological saline solution is sucked into the injector 21 via a filter 22 through the medium of a constant temperature device 27 from a tank 26 through the suction force of an aspirator 28, and air bubbles in the filter and residual blood are removed. Then, with the solenoid valves A, C, D, E opened, F closed, and B being open to the air, the physiological saline solution in the injector 21 decreases, and flows into a liquid standing device 34. The electromagnetic valves C, F is closed, the injector 21, which is filled with sample blood, is brough into contact with a holder, and blood is sucked into liquid reservoir 34 via the filter through the suction force of the aspirator 31. A specific suction pressure, measured by a pressure gauge 33, is added to measure a time during which a given amount of blood passes through the filter.
