Abstract
PURPOSE:To take a quantitative measurement by a quantitative liquid pushing apparatus communicating with the internal blocked area of a detector, by making it possible to process freely a liquid flowing out from a detecting fine hole in a free space by holding a sample in the detector and pushing it out. CONSTITUTION:A suspended sample such as a blood corpuscle and blood platelet is led from sample lead in pipe 20 into detector 3 via valve 21 and after a measurement, the sample is discharged from sample discharge pipe 22 via valve 23. Container 6 provided outside detector 3 is supplied with liquid 7 such as a clean physiological saline solution containing no corpuscle via pipe 25 connected to the upper part of container 6 and the liquid level of container 6 is held nearly constant all the time by liquid-level detecting control method 27 provided to pipe 26 connected to container 6. With valves 21 and 23 closed, pressure is applied into pipe 14 to push the sample out via fine hole 5 and only between liquid-level detecting methods 16 and 15, the number of pulses detected by electrodes 8 and 10 is detected to detect the number of corpuscles.
