Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformalize the earing of a magnetic brush by packing a magnetic carrier and a developing soln. in the grooves of the sleeve of a developing roller then forming the magnetic brush with a magnet. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 30- of 1mm. or the like in width and depth and 1mm. or the like in pitch are provided on the outside circumference of a nonmagnetic sleeve 31 incorporated with a magnet 32 and forming a developing roller. According to the rotation of this sleeve 31, magnetic carrier particles and a developing soln. are packed into the groove 30- by a blade member 33 abutting on this, whereby the throttling of the developing soln. and the regulation of the earing height of the magnetic brush are accomplished simultaneously. In a developing nip part A, all the magnetic carrier particles are allowed to ear up by the magnet 32, whereby the latent image of recording paper is developed. With this constitution, the developing soln. and the magnetic carrier are well distributed by the member 33, the earing of the magnetic brush is uniformalized and the good developing is accomplished.
