Abstract
PURPOSE:To widen a piston motion area while suppressing split vibration by using the coupling part of the circular transfer member of a plane speaker, which couples with a bobbin, as it is without changing the shape and by specifying the shape of the part coupling with a plane diaphragm corresponding to the shape of the plane diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:With a columnar bobbin 2 wound with a voice coil, a transfer member 14 is coupled while its part contacting with the bobbin 2 is unchanged in shape, i.e., circular. Further, the transfer member 14 is also coupled with a plane diaphragm 3 while the contacting part has a closed curve encircling intersenctions of nodes of split vibrations parallel to each side from the outside and cross the nodes between the intersections. Consequently, the corner parts of the polygonal plane diaphragm 3 are reinforced by the transfer member 14 to suppress low- frequency slipt vibrations. High-frequency slipt vibrations, on the other hand, are suppressed by driving the part where the nodes crosses each other directly by the transfer member 14. Therefore, a piston motion area is widened.
