Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a titled device small in size and improve the accuracy in microdispensing by applying the pressure vibrations corresponding to the oscillation output from an oscillator to a chamber for the liquid to be dispensed and discharging the liquid to be dispensed through a dispensing nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A reagent M filled in a reagent vessel 1 is introduced into the nozzle pool 21 and pressure pool 2 of a reagent chamber 2. The reagent M is kept filled at all times in the pool 22 in order to obtain constant pressure, and is pressurized by a vibrator 3 which is driven by an oscillator 4. The reagent M of the amount determined by the inside diameter of a dispensing nozzle 23, the vibration frequency and amplitude of the vibrator 3 and the amount of the liquid contained in the pool 21 is discharged from the nozzle 23 and is injected into a reaction tube 5, and is added to the specimen in the tube 5. Thereby, the amount of the dispensing liquid is determined with one period of the vibrations of the vibrator as one period, and since the amount of the dispensing by one vibration period is approximately constant, the dispensing of a slight amount is accomplished highly accurately and precisely.
