Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply measured amounts of a liquid uniformly and at a high accuracy by fitting an electrostrictive element at a place near the opening end of a slender pipe connected to a container for the liquid. CONSTITUTION:In a device for supplying measured amounts of a liquid such as those used for a blood analyzer or the like, the electrostrictive element 3 is fitted at a place near the opening end of the slender pipe 2 connected to the container 1 for the liquid. The liquid present in the form of minute droplets in the pipe 2 is applied with an electrical signal which is fed from the electrostrictive element 3 being driven in a controlled manner, whereupon a group of uniform minute droplets are discharged accurately and stably at a high speed. Accordingly, a liquid supplying device capable of supplying measured amounts of a liquid at high accuracy can be provided using simple device.
