Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically restore the automatic level regulator to an regulating region, when a pilot signal restores to a normal level, by providing a reversing transmission circuit to an output of an AGC amplifier and monitoring the output at mementary interruption of the pilot signal. CONSTITUTION:When an input level of a reception pilot signal lowers outside the permissible value, a comparator 6 detects it to activate a relay 7 and to switch a contact rl-3. Then, an AGC amplifier 1 is controlled with a variable resistive element by a voltage value stored in a storage circuit 8 to make the gain constant. With the output of the contact rl-1, a variable resistive element of a reversing transmission circuit 11 is controlled also with a variable resistive element of the AGC amplifier 1. The change of gain of the circuit 11 is made to the same amount at the AGC amplifier 1, but inversely proportional to said amount. When the input level of the pilot signal returns to normal state, this is detected at a level monitor circuit 10 to give an output to a comparator 6 and to restore the relay 7.
