Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a burner to be switched from a weak combustion condition to a strong combustion condition smoothly without fear of extinction by a method wherein the timing for increasing the quantity of combusting air is delayed by a predetermined period of time with respect to the timing for increasing the flow rate of a fuel pump, in the captioned vaporization type combustion apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When the burner is in a weak combustion condition, transistors 15 and 17 are ON, a solenoid 2 and a relay 16 are in operation, a damper 3 is pushed against an air inlet port 1 by the solenoid 2 and an electromagnetic pump 5 is switched to a small flow rate side. In this condition, when the burner is switched to a strong combustion condition through a room thermo circuit 13 operating by receiving the output of a room thermostat 12, the transistors 15 and 17 to OFF almost simultaneously and the relay 16 is kept inoperative. On the contrary, the solenoid 2 continues to go ON for a predetermined period of time as the transistor 15 goes OFF and the charge of a capacitor 19 is discharged gradually through a resistor 20. Accordingly, the quantity of air bengins to increase with some delay after the flow rate of the pump 5 increases so that the burner is switched to the strong combustion condition.
