Abstract

PURPOSE:To save an energy and obtain a low air polution caused by a reduction of CO concentration in the air by a method wherein CO concentration in the combustion exhaust gas is detected and a flow rate of air is adjusted such that an air fuel mixture ratio is decreased down to a tolerance limit value in an overall combustion range. CONSTITUTION:CO concentration in the combustion exhaust gas is sensed by CO sensor 12 arranged at a chimney 13 of a vapor boiler 8, and a signal is transmitted to CO control unit 11. The control unit 11 operates CO control motor 10 in response to a signal from CO control damper 9, CO control damper 9 is operated until CO concentration in the exhaust gas is reached up to a tolerance limit value. In case that a vapour pressure in the boiler is increased or decreased, the control motor 2 is operated in response to a signal from the vapor pressure adjuster means 3, and both fuel adjuster valve 4 and air damper 6 are operated simultaneously by a linkage mechanism 1.
