Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically detect the completion of warming-up of a dissel engine, by compensating its revolution speed during the warming-up depending on the temperature of cooling water of the engine and the time of lapse after its starting.
CONSTITUTION: When one of the signal S2 of a neutral switch 101 and that S3 of a clutch switch 102 has a high level, an engine is regarded as being in an unloaded state and a signal S8 is sent out. An accelerator position signal S5 is processed by a computation circuit 109 to send out a desired revolution speed signal S10. A temperature signal S6 corresponding to the temperature of cooling water and a time signal S11 corresponding to the time of lapse after the starting of the engine are processed by a compensated quantity computation circuit 111 to send out a com pensated quantity signal S12. The signals S10, S12 are processed to send out a desired compensated revolution speed signal S13. Deviation compensation is effected on the signal S13 to send out an injected quantity signal S16 to increase the quantity of fuel which is injected when the engine is under no load. After the completion of warm ing-up, the quantity of injected fuel is controlled by an injected quantity signal S9.
