Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the vertical arrangement of a flange to a complex dividual die suitable for vacuum molding or the like, by forming the flange with use of a detachable guide wall.
CONSTITUTION: A separable guide wall 5 such as clay is vertically attached onto a surface part 2 along one side of a boundary line 2. A fiber-reinforced resin layer is vertically formed as the first flange 6 along the vertical plane of the guide wall 5 from the other side of the boundary line 2. Another fiber-reinforced resin layer communicating to the first flange 6 is formed as the first shell 7 at the surface part 4 where the first flange 6 is vertically arranged. After these resin layers are cured, the guide wall 5 is detached. Instead of the guide wall 5, a fiber-reinforced resin layer is vertically formed as the second flange 8. The second shell 9 is then formed. After these second resin layers are cured, the first dividual die part comprising the first flange 6 and the first shell 7 is detached. Thereafter, the second dividual die part comprising the second flange 8 and the second shell 9 is detached, and a pattern 1 is taken way. The first and second dividual die parts are reassembled at the original relative position and used as a molding die.
