Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable giving/receiving of information through general exchange network without remote maintenance incoming trucks, by connecting adaptors and an electronic exchanger through an interface circuit of a maintenance console. CONSTITUTION:An adaptor number assigned from a concentrated maintenance station to a station to be tested is dialed and an adaptor MCT is called out from a centralized maintenance device MC via a general telephone network T. When the device MCT receives the instruction from the device MC, an inspection program execution command of an electronic exchanger TS is transmitted to a CPU(CC) through an interface circuit MPC, and the device MCT reads in the result of inspection through the circuit MCP and transmits the content to the device MC. The maintenance personnel continues the inspection from the result or transmits the inspection end command from the device MC to the device MCT for end processing. Thus, the station to be tested is called out sequentially for inspection.
