Abstract

PURPOSE:To move a terminal with an original judgement at the time of the defect of a line, to connect it to other line and to execute the communication by selecting an arbitrary line in a network with a terminal, inputting a subscribing registering command and changing station data. CONSTITUTION:A subscribing registration or subscribing releasing command 1 to designate a terminal number is transmitted from an arbitrary terminal 10 in a packet switching network, and a packet switching equipment 20 analyzes the received command and transmits a subscribing registration or subscribing releasing information 2 to the terminal 10 of a command requester. The terminal 10 recognizes a self-terminal number (station data), transmits a confirming response 3 to the equipment 20, the equipment 20 executes the station data changing processing and transmits a subscribing condition 4 to a host computer 30 after the processing is completed. The host computer 30 receives the subscribing condition 4 and can know the terminal condition in the network. Thus, the station data can be changed at any time, it is not necessary to communicate with a control office, the line is selected by the original judgement at a terminal side, the station data are changed and communication can be executed.
