Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a superposition of offset waveforms and perform a digital process, by carrying out a multivalue FSK modulation based on a frequency control data synthesized by an input data to be transmitted and a rectangular waveform superposed data. CONSTITUTION:An input data (a) is applied to a matrix 10 as well as to a synchronous reproducer 8. A superposed data (b) having a double frequency of transmission is produced by the reproducer 8. The data (b) is sent to a phase shifter 9 to be controlled to a prescribed phase. The data (b) given from the shifter 9 is synthesized with the data (a) at the matrix 10 to produce a frequency control data (c). The data (c) is sent to a variable divider 2, and the ratio of division is varied for the divider 2 in accordance with the data (c). A phase comparator 3 detect the difference of phase between the output of the divider 2 and a reference signal fr, and the output of the divider 2 is sent to a VCO1 via a filter 4 to control the frequency of oscillation of the VCO1.
